"Twice as nice and half the price of the chain run cottage companies. Cosy fire, loads of room, 10 minutes to stunning beach, coastal walks and tasty food and drink, and Victor the owner couldn't have been more helpful. We visited Berwick, Edinburgh & Eyemouth!" - Shirley & Gordon, Richmond N Yorks August 2016.

Scottish Borders Self Catering - Coldingham, Eyemouth, St Abbs, Berwick, Edinburgh

*coldingham voted Scotland's #1 'hidden gem' village and beach!

In the glorious countryside of Berwickshire, near the beautiful, historic villages of Coldingham, St Abbs and Eyemouth, lies Press Castle, a 17th century manor house of great character and charm.

Press Castle is perfect base for a Scottish Borders Self Catering holiday, where you are never short of things to do and see. It's ideal for couples and families who want to enjoy scenic coastal walks, pristine beaches, and excellent food in the nearby seaside towns, or take a day trip to

historic Berwick and Edinburgh.

Our lovely property nestles within 13 acres of natural grounds, home to badgers and red squirrels - an idyllic retreat where you can relax and wind down, far away from hectic everyday life; Once rested you can explore some brilliant seaside towns and the stunning Borders scenery - all on the doorstep

of your historic HQ!

The first floor of our Scottish Borders Self Catering property is divided into two newly refurbished, spacious suites which enjoy views over the tranquil gardens. Two one-bedroom Self Catering suites are available, the Williams Suite and the Stuart Suite, which can also be opened up to make a large three bedroom apartment. Well-behaved pets are welcome, so please call to discuss your needs (and to find out where all

the best pubs and restaurants are from Victor!).

Award winning beaches (Coldingham is on your doorstep and its one of only two beaches in scotland with a lifeguard), a marine reserve, fishing villages, surfing, diving and superb golf courses are all close by, and there is wonderful walking in the Cheviot Hills and along the coast. Shops and pubs are within two miles and Edinburgh is under an hour's drive away - or why not let the 30 minute fast train
